Change!... "Patriotism" Now Means Defending the President's Socialist Policies

Funny. Patriotism used to mean "love for or devotion to one's country." The ultimate patriotism then was shown by soldiers willing to sacrifice themselves for their country during wartime.
But, not any more.

Today, patriotism means defending the socialist policies of President Obama and the democratic party.
Tom Maguire caught this in The New York Times today:

...Mr. Obama called Ms. Collins and Mr. Specter, as well as Senator Olympia J. Snowe of Maine, another Republican expected to support the deal, to acknowledge they were acting against pressure from their party and, one official said, to thank them for their patriotism in helping advance the bill at a critical time.

Dear Leader is very pleased with his faithful servants.
