Originally founded to provide grants to families of fallen heroes, the nonprofit Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund changed its mission to one of serving severely wounded warriors with the passage of a new benefits law. The IFHF now operates a state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation program at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas
